Are there any other WFPers apart from myself  & Sarah? How often to you go out & do you have another job?

Lesa.  I am  moving this thread to the w/c section as you will get a better response there.  :)  Sarah

Lesa,

I work 3 days per week in  Sales & Marketing and approx 4 days per months now with hubby.

Like you, my 'other'job pays the bills during the bad weather months - if not it gets us another holiday. LOL ;D

Im sure the guys will tell you about the number of wifes who  work with them as not many actually post here.

Nice to  see you back.

Sarah

Some guys come up to my lady wife and say " Hmm a lady window cleaner. "
To which she replies " What do you think we have been doing for the last 200 years "  :)

Me too. I think I will have to get her a superlight pole. She prefers WFP for the bottoms, so I fixed her a backpack on a shopping trolley frame. Dai

I wish I could persuade Mrs K to work with me. I do out and she can do in. But NO she won't hear of it....prefers to be a cashier in our local Costcutter at £6 per hour and works till 9pm some evening :-[

Yup - Mrs Malc's like that - mind you she's very honest - she says it's bad enough sharing a bed with me let alone working with me! ;D

My g/f helped me out whilst I started...truth is that we both have been learning together...she was doing the bottoms and I was doing the tops....she is now going back to social work...and as she puts it, she might as well get paid to work with loonies...

She was very good....it's a pity that she is going back to proper work...I enjoyed working with her however she says that it was not much fun working with me !!!

I work with Wor Lass four days per week.

She's a proper pain in the ass too!

But it's worth putting up with when she's tradding Georgian windows. ;D

She always looks this happy while she's working.

I know a local lad who's wife does a day a week with him, at the start she only managed an hour or so before she was too tired to work on - that was about a year ago - last week he was in bed with the flu - she took the van, his round book and done over £100 before she came back home!!  Ok so it was all wfp and mostly bungalows but  I thought that was remarkable, especially as she's only about 7stone.

JM,

It's all about training!  You've got to train 'em up properly.

The best thing I've done is go WFP for 'tops only'.  Okay WFP 100% is pretty quick, but not as quick as not doing the ground floor at all.

Wor Lass does the ground floor!  I just bugger off and crack on with the 1st floor stuff.

For example, when we do terraced houses, such as we did today, I'm often five or six houses ahead of her.  It's currently 'mad week', so I prefer to keep my distance from her anyway.

She knocks and collects the cash, or leaves a 'chit', when she's cleaned the ground floor.

It's great.  We hardly see each other in some areas.

Thos who have their missus or girlfriends working with them should count themselves fortunate as most of us, (myself included) DON'T unfortunately! Ain't life a beach!

Blimey Tosh, how big is that bottle your good lady is carrying.
I thought it was a backpack at first!

I carry a bottle of solution with me but only an old Fairy bottle. Anything more is too heavy for me  :-[.

I can read her thoughts Tosh, " Living & working with him, what did i do so wrong in my privious life?"  ;D

We tryed working together & she did my head in, then the moaning, i work on my own.  ;D
