I Just recieved this e mail:

Dear Sir/Madam,
I recently joined a few cleaning forums that are owned or sponsored by suppliers/distributors of cleaning products… and I was disgusted by the amount of over moderation, extreme censorship (Especially of competitor’s names and websites!) that I came across.

So… I decided to start my own forums…

Announcing the launch of the internet’s newest INDEPENDENT forum for cleaning professionals in the UK and Ireland (And possibly even further away)!

It’s a forum run by a cleaner……. for cleaners.

This forum is not owned, sponsored or controlled by any distributor, manufacturer or corporate interest.

It’s free, independent, unbiased, and practically un-moderated!

Moderation is minimal (Within reason), and censorship of URL’s and contact details of rival companies will NEVER happen. In fact, we think the more suppliers and distributors we have on board the better… so it’s FREE to advertise!

I look forward to seeing you posting there soon!

 That sounds like the SCSF, but the difference is we don't spam people.

A bit of discreet advertising on the other forums, but to email people in this way is way out of order.

Yeah i recieved an e mail the other day and it was only small but boy did they slag Cleanitup off!!!!!

This is the exact reason i took my email and website address off of this forum as i was getting hit with spam.

On this forum there is a search button, with advanced search allowing me to look for posts with such things as "door knocking" in them, or even better in the title only if I want. 

The point is that with loads of posts to wade through and a nice bunch of lads (and the odd lass) to answer anything I need more detail on, and to help out if ever I can...

I am more than happy to have this forum sponsored.  If anything I have been wondering if it is possible to donate cash to it.   I doubt many on here would want to go elsewhere.

Got the same mail. My thought is, I'm on a forum and it's a good one, I've had loads of useful suggestions from it and been told when people thought I was wrong. It works well. If eveyone starts going to different forums, then you get less input from them. One big one would be best for everyone.
