How do you stay Dry???
« on: December 29, 2006, 10:43:15 am »
Hi Guy's

I did a job yesterday were I could not move back more than 2' away from the house due to a boundary fence, How would you guy's do this type of window without getting wet?.

I tried doing it at an angle but ended up moving underneath the window, I didn't get too wet, only splashed, is there a knack of doing these windows.

In a word - quickly  :)
I do turn the flow down for these ones too.  If it's obscure glass (as it often is if overlooking a neighbour) then I reduce it to a trickle.

Jeff,

1.  You will get wet with WFP.  I bought myself a waterproof coat and trousers and a waxed "cowboy" style hat.  Now I don't care.

2.  I have one of Gaz's Swiv Brushes....It's a little beauty!!....A bit wobbly on the horizontal swiv, but it's surprising where I can "thread" the brush and pole!!

Thanks guy's
I didn't get that wet more of a few splashes from drips, and just thought there might have been a knack to it, I have been intouch with gaz and will be looking to get new brushes in the new year.
There arn't that many places I'll find myself in this spot but I alaways like to be prepared.
