Hose frozen today
« on: December 22, 2006, 02:21:28 pm »
Hi All,

Just had five houses today to clean. Arrived at my first job,set up as normal, worked my way around top windows, get to the back of the house and there is a cup of coffee and sausage roll for me. Drink eat and talk for 10 mins. Turn my tap on and no water is coming out of my brush, check pump and all, only to discover that the water in my microbore hose is frozen..........guess what? I decided to go home and put my feet up. Thats me done for Xmas.

Cheers all, and have a good xmas.

Paul.

I had my brushes and hose freeze a couple of times last year.

When this happens i get my ladders of and carry on.

I have had in the past when doing traditional the water freeze when you put it on with applicator and before you can squeegie it off its frozen.
When this happens its time to go home.

Paul, where I work that happens every day in the winter, If you want to carry on just add windshield washer fluid to your water Its good down to about -6 or -8
