Love to try Cradle work?
« on: December 20, 2006, 07:05:02 pm »
Hi,

Any of you big guys using cradles on tall buildings in the cities?

I'd love to work for a day in a cradle high up.  Just for the experience.

Anyone take me up?

I wouldn't charge you a penny. It would be a Busmans Holiday for me!!

Using cradles involves a lot of training, general traning, site training, rescue training and harness training so it is a lot of time and trouble to get one of my guys in one.

You would change your mind when the wind blows and you drift out away from the building ha ha.

If ever a time comes up will give you a shout bring spare pants!!!!!!

Oh Yeh, H&S stuff.  Sorry I didn't think of that.  Can't just jump in and have a go these days.
But if ever there is a chance of having a go, maybe in the summer when it's warm and calm!!  Please give me a call. I am seriouse.

Think you might have problems because of insurance, what with it being very high for this type of access system - you might have to pay them for one day cover which could cost 100s  :-\
