I did a millionaires place first thing this morning (electric gates, stables, underfloor heating, indoor swimming pool, etc, etc, etc) and he tipped me with a cheap bottle of red plonk.

Tightwad!

JM,

I know you live in Northern Ireland but the National CDL sounds like one of those terrorist organisations like the Irish National Liberation Army.

I hope your donation is all above board!

I reckon I've had about £50 altogether.  No problem with that.  In some respects I would rather not have any as it can sometimes make it a little harder to keep things focussed on a business footing.

I had two bottles of wine again today.

One from a pub and one from an off-license!

Still only about £140 altogether though.
Like someone said, I think most likely tipping areas were done too early in the month.

Mind you, I did a few today in a good area I wouldn't normally have got to yet.
The others can wait. ;D

Well - finished 'til next Thursday and got another £10 today taking me to £100 exactly plus a bottle of wine.
It's a game of three halves!

FOUR QUID TODAY!  Tightwads!  As Ian Lacaster has pointed out, I cleaned long-standing customers today and the only tip was from a new account.

So I think our total is about 80 quid, five bottles of wine and three or four lots of confectionary.

Got given £18 for a £8 job and £20 for a £15 job so thats about £25 total so far...or any tax people reading.....zilch ::)

Don't forget....you have to declare ALL your tips, including "in kind" -wine, mince pies, etc - estimate the value and add it on to your self assessment form ::)

Cheers,

O

Ian

Hi Tosh, I donate my tips to te National Canine Defence League.  We got our last dog from there when he was around 5years old (golden cocker spaniel used in dog fights), we had him for 16years and I collect for the ncdl every summer, posting envelopes in peoples doors and collecting them again (once they've put some change in them).  Its surprising just how many people don't give anything and just return an empty envelope, makes me mad.

I don't know if everyone hates you but you've got to admit it, you need some new threads, those 70's flares have had it. ;D
