Hi,.. I am sure this question crops up a lot, but I want a simple answer to a few questions.  Can anyone tell me whether a WFP is any safer, and easier  to use than ladders  on a normal domestic/light commercial round.  Are they for small one off jobs with one small guy or do u need to be a big operator?... Are they cost effective, and reliable?.. I just clicked on a site called Ionics and lookin for a dealer,.... the one for England is miles away, ...is there a dealer in the North West?.

Do any of you in the North West need a free labourer for a day so I can see a pole thing at work?..

I'll be quite surprised if you get anyone willing to demonstrate their system to you, even with your offer of free labour.

All of the large suppliers (and there are quite a few) will come and demonstrate their system for you.

You could phone peter at www.window-tools.com.  He bound to have a customer close to you whose got one of his systems, that customer will proberly let you see the system in operation and let you know the ups and downs, thats how I started

The reason I wanted to go with a man on the job rather than with a dealer is that a working cleaner has no hidden agenda in trying to sell you his pole system.

Also I have only viewed Ionics and they seem to be short of N.West dealers.

Finally I don't want a factory conditioned demo followed by hours of high pressure sales, several hundred miles away.

You say  you doubt if anyone will show me their system, Why? I have no intention of pinching either the machine or their work.

I have seen all sorts of help and advice given on this site and I think that is fantastic.

Please excuse my humour, but under suspicion of what?

I can understand if I was asking  how much you all earning,  or really personal details but I am NOT a tax inspector or a pole thief, burglar etc.  I am a self employed window cleaner who has moved house (100 miles) and need to start again.  I'm tryin to buy a round,  or set up from scratch,  and theres a lot of talk here on WFP.

I have only discovered this site last night,  and if I had found it sooner I think I may have stayed where I was doing my own little round as it seems it was quite good compared to the cut throat world in here.

WFP best thing weve done are just installing static pure water making machine.The company i use go wherever in the country you are and give demonstration.No hidden agenda,excellent customer service.I enquired with all the top ones and the one we use came out best.If you want their details be glad to give them if you mail me.
