Do you Clean the Frames?
« on: June 23, 2004, 09:31:53 pm »
Just a Debate what do you do?

Do you clean the frames?
Have you picked up more customers due to cleaning the frames?
Have you lost jobs due to not cleaning the frames?

Come on whats your thoughts on this??

I always clean the frames and sills, why?

When i looking into window cleaning the biggest pet hate customers did not like was, the frames are never cleaned or the sills are never wiped after.

So i based my selling point on cleaning Frames. I have picked up alot of customer with this and i make sure i charge more for this service. I am approx 50 - 60% more than another window cleaners in my area and customers are happy to pay for a professional service i provide.

Sean, good for you we all have are own opinion, but I only hope you charge accordingly otherwise your the only one losing out. Unless of course your happy with your lot then thats your choice, for me I would rather go with the norm and make a good living at the same time, by cleaning the frames if required when asked or I have sold the option to the customer and charged accordingly

I always wipe round frames and sill,Can't see the point of cleaning the window if you don't as your work is let down by the dirt on the frames and sill.
