Hello, i have a 350 mwb transit and it will carry the 1000 ltr tank no problem. I have a 500ltr tank for valeting and still get 2 pallets of ceiling tiles in the back and they are heavy.
I paid £2900 with  no vat  for a 2002 out of the auto trader 3 months ago with a full ford history.  It drives like a car with no probs so far. I would go for the higher ps/bhp model though. You should get 400 miles per tank fully ladden.
