Thanks...... thought they looked similar!

We recently bought a Salmon brush while at Varitech in Plymouth, they fitted it with 2mm fan jets for us. our best brush by a mile!

Just to clarify, the Salmon brush is not a Tucker brush. I think that Tucker would be most upset if they were the same!

Tucker brushes are far superior in quality and cleaning ability to Salmon brushes.

I have adapted a Salmon brush to fit on a standard Universal type fitting, so it is possible.

I have seen a Tucker brush close up and i must admit its one of the best brushes i have seen it would be good if you get them to fit any pole

Does anyone know?  Can Tucker brushes be modified to fit other poles?

I used 2 plastic number plate bolts to fix it to a floor broom that I had shaved the bristles off. This then fitted to an Unger elbow. But this was outside the pole hose.

Thanks for reply, at least, Jeff.
Did you glue the broom head (minus bristles), or just screw it in?

tucker brush can only be used with the tucker pole,i have been using mine for four months now and in my opinion they are the best brush you can use,was using ionics brushes before that and did have some problems,eg going out of shape, scratched window cills, spots, since i moved to tucker brushes have not had one problem, well worth the money and they do last years, the brushes i am using are three year old as i bought a second hand tucker system, best investment i made.

PJ

I adapted a Tucker brush to fit on a Brodex Gooseneck, Quite easy to do.

I would Imagine they would fit Ionics goosenecks  too

PJ the stock comes as a blank with 2 holes to accept their own bracket I simply drilled a matching pair of holes in the broom I was using and bolted them together. I then used ott jets which no one ccan now talk me out of. I guess you adapt an old head of your own  by removing the bristles, you only need a short piece of backing to bolt thro.
I agree with Ned that basic Tucker stock is sharp edged, but simply file/surform the sharp edges a bit rounder to get rounder the prob.  ;D
In think the copy cat versions are not the same animal.
I think they have a great range but sold my double trim copy cat on because I was looking for something lighter.
