Leaded strips peeling off
« on: December 04, 2006, 05:22:45 pm »
Last month noticed the very end of a lead strip on the outside of a customers  window was starting to come away from the glass, this month  its about 2 inches thats come away, obviously gonna get worse everytime I brush however lightly over that area, anyone ever stuck these back down to the glass, if so what did you use...
Cheers

Hi,weve had this problem ::),ended up using a product called UV116...its a low viscosity clear adhesive made by UV-TEK,it came from a hobby shop, this is the glue stained glass window makers use, cures in about 30 secs,I hope this helps.....

Thanks, will have a look out for that as I'm sure it will be needed again in the future
