Hi Ian,
     Payed on credit card, so had a months grace before I settled my bill in full,£2804.98 + vat = £3295.87.
    I had a few extra's at that, comes with tools, 15m of 2" vac hose and solution pipe, I had extra 7.5m of each.

  faster hotter and u get lot better results trust me i hav got other 2000w heaters and they dont come close to it

Hi Len,

The 400ltr tank is baffled, and is not always full. The two smaller tanks supplied by solutions are not baffled and the waste tank is usually emptied after each job.

Still can't decide between the steamate and the meteor heater?

I'd go for the Speedster over the Scorpion every time.

It seems to me you're paying about £1000 more for an extra vacuum motor with the Scorpion and you don't even get a heater. Plus all those plugs and cables everywhere and an external heater to mess around setting up - 4 lots of plugs if you have heat and booster box? I struggle to find 2 seprate circuits to plug into sometimes!

If you must have 3 vac motors, why not get a Speedster with built in heat and add a booster box?

I currently run a Rhino 3x3 stage vac. I have to say so far has been an excellent machine so far giving excellent results with a great heat exchanger included purchased from Matt from Cleansmart for a good price, alot of machine for the money, not sure how it compares to other portables but if I were looking for another would either be The Scorpian or Speedster, both look good, The Speedster looks like good value to me.

When you guy's are plugging all this stuff in dont you fuse the customers electricity?
I always find a lot of customers are doing their washing & Ironing while I am cleaning their carpets.

You must all go through a lot of fuse wire.

I'm surprised the Mytee Speedster is doing so well, considering I've hardly heard anyone talk about it, just think how well it would have done if the manufacturer had gone on all the bulletin boards and give it lots of free advertising

I think you'll find that most porti's are roughly the same size and shape nowa days.

I was surprised by the Scorpion at how light is and compact.

I've had this problem before with the plug thing, but I use a TM so it's not really that relivant to me.

Ive not blown 1 fuse with my scorpion, it just needs 2 plugs and away you go.

Heat from tap is all ive ever used, and if I was using the booster it would be 150ft away from the machine so no worry's there as well.

With the 500psi high flow quad cell pump and 3 vacs heat is replaced in the cleaning pie imo, and I like the fact all available power is used on the vacs and pump. The other thing that swung it for me was the weight, at 85 lbs it a third lighter than most machines and goes up steps easy, so that was me sold.

A new porty should be picked too suit your business and its unique requirements, so if you want a demo Merv your welcome to pop down the road too me.

Hi Rob,

I dont use the tanks, for me it would be no quicker as I work with helper, I can have it off the van and filled up at the door in a matter of mins while the other person is vacing and pre-spraying.

I use normal 1 1/5 pipe and have 18, 25, 33, 50 ft lengths in the van but most of the time I use the 33ft for doing a house. Ive had a go on the 2" stuff its good.

phil i hav only ever fused one property in years and it was very old eletrics,  with modern electrics u will only ever trip it out not blow the fuse

Remember all the hype surrounding the eclipse that seems to have died a death.Not even on the list, if god forbid I needed to return to using a porty the speedster would be my choice quietly made its mark and heard good reports about  it.
