is the salt vessel a clear blue container about 10 inches high.
If so, fill it to top with your salt and when salt has dissolved in water flow, let it run on for a few minutes before switching your hoses back into their correct position.
Is your DI vessel the blue aqualung type vessel?
If so, fill to top with resin.
I cut a peice of garden hose (about 6 inches) and I place this in the top of the tube in the centre of the vessel so no resin gets in.
I got a football training cone and cut off the top to form a funnel. This goes over the hose that is sitting in the tube and fits perfectly just inside the rim of the vessel. I can then just pour in the resin.

Thanks alot boys.

That was a big help on both accounts.

I even took your advise and used a football cone to get the resin into the tank ! ;D

Thanks again
