Microbore?
« on: November 30, 2006, 01:44:02 pm »
Hi fellas,

Im goin to order some microbore and a fancy metal reel.

How am I going to connect the reel by hose joiner to my van outlet, to a standard hoselock male connector? can I use a standard 1/2" hose joiner as normal onto the reel and I pressume the micro bore will connect with no probs onto the inside of the reel?

Also what do you reccomend, pro endstop or eazysnap. do the easysnap's have end stops on them?

You will need a 1/2" hose length with a female hozelock end-stop, from your van to the hosereel. This plugs into a male hozelock on the side of the hosereel (as standard).

Microbore can come with an inline bore convertor to fit onto the hosereel. On the other end you would have a connector of your choice.

The EZ-Snap connectors are an End-stop type connector, I personally use the EZ-snap connectors as they so easy to use, and robust, whilst being very compact.

When selecting a roll of microbore also select the box
"Reel end adapter and EZ-Snap end kit (+£8.35)  "

This will give you an adapter to fit your hosereel and also a EZ-Snap endstop.
