« on: November 28, 2006, 05:58:03 pm »
Just wondering if anyone has ever been tempted to charge a premium for non customers that phone in Dec wanting a clean before the big day?

I am really tempted too either that or tell them after xmas only

Hi All
Short days and bad weather, if I have to leave a regular the one off has to pay much more than double, why neglect our bread and butter.

I did charge a doulbe price today on a large property. Would be a normal price of £60 but the owners wanted it cleaned as a special. I charged them £120.

And do you know what?.....they did not even bat an eye lid @ the price.

So doulbe them prices and collect them pound notes lads ;D

I don't charge a premium.

I just don't take anyone on in december.
Im getting quite a few calls now as its getting near xmas and i just tell them that im fully booked up until the new year.
Some look somewhere else a few want me to start in the new year.

My regular customers come first.
I have a lot of regulars who want inside cleans done so im really busy anyway right up until xmas.

I am going to tell any new customers that there is a 20 pound charge over and above the cost of having there windows done in December, just to stop the once and then dropped merchants, either they pay the 20 pound extra or they go into the round in the new year.

Never neglect your regulars. £120 one off very nice indeed, but once. £15 house by 12 cleans £180, nicer!
