« on: November 27, 2006, 08:11:50 pm »
Hi folks. One of my clients has just got lily pollen on her brand new 80/20 off white carpet. Also the whole container of water! ( Just what is in those plant food sachets?) Any suggestions as to removal please.

This happened to me albeit I knocked over a full vase of lillys in my house.

A mixture of orange water everywhere on a wool mix loop pile.

I basically extracted then applied Ctrius Gel liberally.  Left for ages then extracted again.  I am not convinced it got it all out but blimey it certainly saved the wrath of the wife.

Also if you ever get the pollen on a carpet the best way to get it off is to gently apply sellotape to it to lift of the pollen bits.  Don't try and brush it.

Although citrus gel will remove it to a degree, I have always had 100% results using HM OJ and it works immediatly.
