Just been to price a 2 day job along the beach in sunny(not) Rhyl  cleaned a couple of the dreaded wooden panes (with little paint) twice, really good scrub.  1 hour later came back to see the greasy deposit all over the glass. (Groan  ::) ) and the seagull shmit still visible.
Think I will give it a miss, I do like a challenge but they are also phobic and dry spotty. Maybe it needs ammonia or a first rinse with strong gg3 ?
Dave you deserve a medal, I wouldnt want to get out of bed on monday.

i work on the coast in brighton as well and find the only way with salty windows is lots of water and change it offen.      the salt does make it hard work, sometimes so much so i feel like jacking it in  :'(

i guess this is the time of year we really earn our money
