Hi Guys,
I`m looking for a good rotary for commercial work, also looking to get into maintenance work, bonnet buffing.
Has anyone got any thoughts on a good machine and is anyone doing bonnet buffing on a large scale.

Cheers.

If you are serious about this type of cleaning, there are a number of options, with three " hot" systems and others

There are a number of regular posters on here who use and swear by Texatherm, or Dry Fusion and Craftex have a similar one to D / F

Although I'm not a fan of Solutions, they have started to import the oscillating pad machine from the US which it's claimed is, easier to use, quicker to use and does a better job!!!!

Much of this depends on what product you use, the type of pad, and your expertise.

The originator of bonnet mopping Argosheen, supply an excellent product, which I used to import from the US and got fantastic results, with it

Hi Rob.
Thanks for your input, good to see you are posting again.
I have looked at the machines that you have mentioned, the Craftex yin is by far the  less expensive and looks the biz.
I was hoping to spend less than a grand and was looking at the Victor Wolf. Is the heat really worth the extra money?

My son`s at Paisley University. It would be good to meet you for a wee chat when I`m  through visiting.

OK. So no one wants to chat about these LM machines.
Perhaps this is because of some posters have been aggressive on this subject in the past and people cant be bothered with is sort of banter.

If anyone can give me some pointers on this subject, you can mail me at info@capitalcarpetcare.co.uk
Help appreciated as always.

Cheers

The one I do recommend is Dry Fusion although it is expensive and it is heavy.

Shaun

Not tried the one from Craftex ot Texatherm although I can recommend the others as very good companies as I deal with both and continue to do so.

Cheers Shaun.  ;)
I like the look of the Craftex Thermadry, but my knowledge on this subject is limited.
It`s all very well reading all the advertising copy, but in real life, it can be a different story.

(Rotary) - This System Is Not Recommended (manufacture name deleted British)

Based on the floor buffing system, with slower head rotation, either rotary brushes or absorbent pads are used. The shampoo solution is applied to the machine pads or sprayed onto the surface of the carpet and the machine is moved over the surface. The treated pad absorbs soil from the carpet and holds it until the pad is next cleaned. Unfortunately this system has a roughening and flattening effect so is not considered suitable for (manufacture name deleted)

Oscillating system used once and not happy with it kept going to the right bit like my op sander for car bodywork rotary on the other hand up down left right. 8)
