Are you the guy that sends letters round to different window cleaners to give yourself an idea of pricing?

hard job  when we were est. 1960
i only asked for a little help if you dont want to
dont,i have worked for my late father for 18 yrs
i just asked a price because its hard to ask for
normal price as you are only there a short time
dont judge a book by its cover

I'm not judging. Just wondering thats all.
Are you the same guy?
It strikes me strange that you've worked for your father for 18 years and he didn't put his arm around your shoulder and say "here son, this is how you'd price this one up". Or that you've had 18 years experience and still have to ask. Personally I couldn't offer any advise on pricing without seeing the logistics and health and safety concerns of the job in question.
Is the job 1200 square metres by any chance?

forget about it , one thing my late father said
when he put his arm around my shoulder "never bring an not a very nice person with you, there will be one there when you get there" boy was he right ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
this sight is a great waste of time i thought it was here
to help its not like im taking work of you.As i have 16
women and 5 men working for me I have got two vans
on the road with pole systems with the amount of work im getting i thought i was under priceing.but im still making huge profits, i even have to sub work out to other cleaning companys,

Your credibility falls over as a newbie with out your full profile, regarding this site you are only putting a spanner in the woks then blowing ones own trumpet , bad day with wife or partner or what!

GARY

Think you got of to a bad start on here, think you will find some w/c on here don’t like telling ever one how they price jobs because they dont wont some one local to them getting a job because they no what they charging and that includes me as contracts can be losted this way.

your business has a lot of work so just put in a good price and if you dont get it then no lost

I think that the question you asked was to hard for him to understand, all he had to say was  yes or no

Or you can use the correct window cleaning forumla for pricing jobs.

((SxTxHrR)xW+T+Mx(PxTxHrR)xHrR)+P+V= Cost of Cleaning Windows

Thats what i use.

or you can work on how much you want per hr and guess how many hrs it will take to clean. Price it like ladder work as alot of people do that when using a wfp.

Hope that helps
