Been out leafleting over the past few days..

One bloke yesterday asked me why I bothered delivering a leaflet to him as he doesn't have any carpet, only laminate. How the heck am I supposed to know what flooring he has in his house? Am I psychic??!

Today I delivered a leaflet and a bloke came out of his house and had a go because I "had let all the heat out of the letter box". I mean, it must have been open for all of a second or two!

Anyone else encountered weirdos when leafletting?

Hi Guys,

Several people who have opened the door and ripped the leaflet to pieces, as if thats going to hurt me.

When I used to door knock years ago I was always polite but if they were really rude I was extra polite, this infuriates ignorami more than anything else.

Most people are very polite when I door knock, but out of hundreds you always get the one.

My favourite line if they get arsey is to say Are you OK? In a real concered way. Most actually apologies, but one chap looked like he was going for a stick so I swiftly moved on.

The other one of course is the smug type who tell you this very day they have bought a Bissel. I give them a leaflet anyway, just in case.

Better than that. A few years ago someone said "No we do them ourselves we have a Vax" Oh how I laughed outload as I walked back down the drive

When I was an estate agent I was delivering some leaflets with my ex-boss. We were doing a really grim council block of flats and he ignored one of those stupid stickers saying no circulars. This soap dodger then appeared from the flat and threw the leaflet back at him and said can't you f*%!ing read. Quick as a flash he replied yes I can thats why I dont f*%!ing live where you do.

Oh how we lauged as we ran back to the car chased by the man and his staffie.

About a year ago posted a leaflet through a door, woman comes out immediately screws my leaflet up throws it in wheelie bin and says got enough crap in this house love.
