Stainguard per sq mtr ?
« on: November 01, 2006, 04:35:34 pm »
Have an imminent contract coming up with a large independent carpet retailer. They want me to stainguard carpets for their customers as and when required at their warehouse.
Interesting to know what fellow forum members charge ?

Also, does anybody know where I can get my hands on some glossy literature on the benefits of stainguard protection ?
Cheers,
Terry

i hear Hydramasters new 'Repel and Protect' is good, its a flourochemical but has a new dye blocker to protect against dye stains,

i do know the coverage is much better than prochems flouroseal, repel and protect covers 3-4 times more area, and costs the same.

This seems an ideal place to slightly hijack this thead......

Does anyone know what the Craftex (Dupont Teflon) protector is like? We have been using 2 other types up until now (Promite being one of them), and wanted to know if the Teflon one was better?

The fact that it's cheaper appeals to me too  ;D

Just got a bottle of the Craftex but not used it yet so cant comment other than to say your right it seems a lot cheaper.

As for the glossy literature, im looking for something decent myself
Iv just got my hands on the Prochem and Craftex ones, and imo the Prochem isnt all that good, the Craftex is better but still not great so im still looking.

Anyone know who does the best leaflet?
