Finger Printing Dust

Off to clean house tomorrow which was burgled. I have been asked to clean windows as they are covered in dusting powder from the local constabulary.. Somebody told me it can be a pain to get off, is this correct, if so what do you guys recomend or does it come off with hard washing?? Any advice wlcome.

I don't know about in the U.K., but you have to have a special BBP licence for crime scene clean-ups in the States - especially if there is blood involved. Take a look at this website:-

Steve try washing up liq if not vinegar works on lots of things, did see a program about a year ago about a cleaning company in States doing this, its probley the worst cleaning job in the world :-[ BUT bet it pays well

I had to clean that off once, i found it very easy using the normal method. Nothing to worry about there.

Make sure U don't leave any prints yourself!

Job done. Just hard graft washing windows and frames then carpets cleaned.. It was a showhouse for a builder they took everything , suite, beds, oven hob and extractor and  one of those big walk in fridge freezes . I made sure i wore gloves ;)
