Hotel Carpet - Belguim Wilton
« on: October 29, 2006, 10:21:48 am »
Please help. I have to demo carpet cleaning for a hotel.
Problem. Belguim Wilton Carpets.
I use HWE ???
The carpets are not too bad - Thinking of going agead with HWE , High Temp. Not using a lot of moisture.

Any advice??

Art,

Check the fitting carefully , a well fitted BW is unlikely to shrink unless you use a lot of water .

Also worth bearing in mind that BW is Polypropylene so you can use a highish pH prespray , allow a 20 minute dwell and clean by spraying lightly above carpet and then extracting.

This has always worked for me.

Cheers

Doug

Bonnet it, like Doug I do sometime HWE using a truckmount, low pressure, high heat and blower to dry and get away with it but always on edge after doing it.
Invest in a cheap bonnet system and some pad and save yourself the heartache,
