Whilst i was canvassing the other night i picked up a customer who said she wanted her window's cleaned but she'd ring to say when!!
What do you think?
All help appreciated!

Seriously tho' - when she does, you fit her into your round to suit you, not the other way around.

Unless its an expensive account dont bother, more hassle than its worth i would say.
She'll probably say the same after you clean them first time "i'll call you when i want them doing again" so i wouldnt bother, she doesnt really want your services regular just when they are really cacked in crud i bet!!!

I wouldn't bother with her for twice that price unless you need the work.

By the time you have wasted fuel and extra travelling time to do her windows when she want that £16 does not look very much for the time taken to get to and do the job.

I would tell her if she wants them done you would fit her into your schedual when you are in that area.
If shes not happy with that forget it

I would not bother either.

Concerntrate on regular customers, how are you going to budget your bills etc each month if you have customers that only have them done now & again.

Re-price the job as a one off clean and make sure when she calls that you are too busy atm and it will be 2/3/4/5 weeks before you can fit her in.

Assess your situation everytime she calls. ie If you have a vacancy and you could do with the money and if the charge is worth the lenght of time it takes to do the job.
Personally if it happened to me I would take it as long as it is priced right. I am still building up my round so I could still fit her in. In a few months time I might have full books and then I would turn her down.
