I have a CIS card and am about to start some sub contractor work in the next few weeks. I am the owner of the company who got  the contract. Does everyone else who will be on site working for me  also need a CIS card of their own or does my one cover them ?

Hi there the cis card is for anyone working in the construction industry so you need a cis card for the developer to pay you minus the 18% tax then the subcontractor needs a cis card for you to pay him less 18% etc however if he is an employee then he doesn't

Window cleaners are exempt from CIS, not needed, check with the tax man, I'm sure you will find it is not compulsory.
I've done loads of builders cleans in the past and I've never, ever needed it.
If the construction firm tell you it is needed they are wrong.
Nothing wrong with having it, a good way of saving money, used enough it gets you a nice rebate at the end of the year.

Window cleaning is not considered to be part of the construction process.

but if you do have one, and you are the one being paid, any that you then further subcontract the work out too will not need it.

Window cleaning is exempt from window cleaning on the outsides only.

If you clean windows on the inside you need a CIS card
