Tool Tip / Trolley / Bucket Work Station
« on: May 13, 2004, 06:59:09 pm »
Been `tinkering` about and made up a really nice bucket / trolley / work station.
Its dead simple really. All it is, is a hand truck cart thats been on special offer at
Argos. It`s been marked down on a promotional offer to £ 9. 99p.A Pulex bucket
is ideal because of the holes in the handle.Ya just feed two plastic tie cables thru`
the third hole in from each end.It hangs perfect. No bending to replenish ya strip
washer.Additional  to the bucket hangers for tools, squeegee`s etc. there`s a whole
host of addtional ways and methods for tool hanging. It even takes two bucket`s on
a belt if ya want. The toe plate can be turned around to make more room, and it dos`nt
interfere with overbalancing even with a bucket over half full.It looks really classy and
professional. It can be used just as effectivley in say town centres doing shops and offices
etc. and also doing a domestic bungalow out  ` in the sticks` somewhere.

Sorry Phil, hav`nt a digital camara.Go to your nearest Argos  store and just have a look.
Its called a Universal Hand Truck and the catalouge number is 721 / 2413.
It works on something similier to Sorbo`s Leif Cart but with much more options and
variations. The only snag is as ya tip the cart to move it from A to B etc.the bucket also
tilts at the same angle.Ya get ya shoes wet if ya not careful but its easily got  around I find.
When I`m not using it in `bucket and strip washer mode` I just `flip` over if ya like to using
it in `pure water mode`.( I have to alter the shoe plate and where the Pulex bucket fits is the
holding plate for battery/pump and workings etc.It takes about 6 or 7 minutes to convert from
one `mode` to the other.
