Hi Rhys

The guy below's done leaflets for a few folk on the boards. You can get some ideas from him, but to be honest, by the time you've faffed about and printed stuff off yourself, it would have been easier just getting them from him in the first place!

Leaflet a street and go back a couple of days later.
Introduce yourself by name and job, show them your leaflet and ask if they remember it. Ask if they have a window-cleaner. If they have - smile sweetly, thank them for their time and move on to the next door (remember to ask for the leaflet back!)
If they don't, ask them if they'd like to use you. If they don't, smile sweetly . . .  If they do - YAHOO!! If someone phones you from the ad, that's a double yahoo.

REMEMBER - don't put in a cheap price just to get a job. They're asking you, you're not begging for the work.

Do a search for flyers, door-knocking, script, etc etc - there's stacks of information on here, you just need to find it! Look in the Documents to Download section http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/index.php?board=11.0    http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=13133.0  http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=21903.0
