Was wondering when people started,am thinking of kicking off at 8am but then wondered if it might be a bit early?
Usually I wait till 9am.

When i was working on my own i'd always try and get to the first job at 8am. Now i have someone helping me i pick him up at 8am and we usually start around 8.15am

I've only had a few requests from older customers that i don't start before 10am because they like to have a lie in.

Used to start 9am domestic but then I relised that most households are on thier way to work or school by 8.30am so now I start at 8am..
plus I,d rather start that hour earlier and finnish earlier...

I have about 45% of my work "Commercial" - Shops, Doctors and Dentists Surgeries and offices.  So I have split them into 2 hour slots for each day of the week ( can park in the town and be done before the Traffic Warden is about!!!!) Start at 7.00am finish 8.30 - 9.00 home for some breaky then out on houses by 10.00.

Mind you, if you have no commercail I don't see why you can't start at as early as 7.30.  People with families are often up at that time and don't mind, besides they'll often throw the money at you as they fly out with the kids to school or to work, saves having to collect later or wait for them to send a cheque!

8am domestic. can be as early as 6am for commercial but normally 7am. when we sign people up we always specify that our working day starts at 8am.

In the summer I start some commerical work at 5am. Yawn yawn but it's great finishing at 10 ish.
