Haven't got any work going at the moment, but if I hear of any, will let you know.

I expect prices here, would be similar to the portsmouth area, maybe a bit less. We do not do much in the city, mainly exmouth, lympstone area.

Exeter has a lot of old terraced houses, a lot of which have poor access to the back yard. I do know that some local 'shiner's' charge between £5 and £12 just for the front!

Depending on the area, I would say £8 to £12 for an average 3 bed semi.

I agree with Jake with these prices.

Do you do the Saddlers Arms?

I've only got a small amount of work in Exmouth (Domestic) put it pays ok and doesn't take that long

Hi Craig

No, we don't do the Saddlers Arms, but do a few houses around the corner in the village. Lovely area to work in though, especially some properties we do, that back onto the Exe estuary.

I think those prices i quoted are about right, dont know if you'd get them in Burnthouse Lane though !  ;D

Back to topic.

Ladderman2006  why not just work out how much you charge on an hourly rate and price it by the time it takes

My old man use to be a Major in the Marines at CTCRM and all the squaddies there have to do the windows etc.

It might have changed now but as far as i know it's still the same

I'd agree with these prices too, probably the upper end of the prices but this depends on which area you work in.  I generally don't charge less than £7.50 - £8.00 for anything, although have one or two simple fronts which I do for £6.50.

Hope this helps, good luck with it.

Cheers

Matt
