Hi Jinky,

What you mean the..... shhhh one that hasn't been released yet?!! :o

Don't know if its the one you mean, its the new 'super-lite' from Gardiner. It is amazingly light, you can literally use it at 35ft with one hand, no problems!! (Not advisable in windy conditions!).

Only thing to get used to is the assembling and deassembling, for different heights, but this is easy enough to get used to.
I am currently having a bit of difficulty taking it apart, as some sections seem to have got stuck. Not sure why this is, but I had to bring it home on the roof yesterday. I'm scared of putting too much pressure on it and breaking it!(yes, it is that light!). I've already busted the top sections, by putting too much pressure trying to push a window closed that was too stiff  :o :o

I would almost go as far as saying that this is the only pole you will ever need. It just takes a little getting used to.

simbag I thought it was alex new pole, I managed to get a sneak preview of one and I was impressed of how light it was, you think it still needs some modification to get it right

I think the pole itself is totally usable. I think that possibly there needs to be a little extra thought and testing (probably why it hasn't been released yet). For example, I would like to see an end cap for each section, so as I can use each piece seperately without worrying about wearing the ends away. The carbon fibre is so thin, is doesn't take much to chip the edge if you're not careful.
As far as the sticking pieces go, I don't know, as I've still to speak to someone about, to find out if it can be resolved easily enough.
