What van not to get
« on: September 28, 2006, 08:51:03 pm »
Hi all,

I know we've had the topic of 'What is the van most suited to wfp'.

What i'd like to know is which van's should people steer well clear of when thinking of going wfp.

Regards,
Lance

did you meen LDV?, we have had 3 of these high top lwbase, all were very suitable to the wfp and were very reliable, not as comfy as trandits but they were ideal at the time, the new shape looks quite good too.

Get the biggest you can afford, you can't have too much space.

Although I currently have one, I would feel uncomfortable buying another Renault Trafic.  The gearbox on my current one needed replacing at 39,000 miles.  Maybe I was just unlucky but after something like that, it makes it hard to trust them.  It seems an OK van in giving a smooth ride etc but I rate reliability higher than personal comfort.
