Good news, Bad news.....
« on: September 27, 2006, 04:26:33 pm »
Good News...................Downloaded George programme the other day and I am very very very pleased with it. So simple to use! If there are any window cleaners left that do not use it, download it now.

Bad news.....................Went to clean a customers windows and I nearly got sick! The back garden was covered in dog poo and it was basically liquid form! Seeing that Im wfp it was disgusting dragging the hose through it and as hard as I tried to avoid it, It got on the hose, my shoe and even on my hand!!
They are a good paying customer at £19.50 monthly but Im afraid i will have to drop them as it really isn't worth it!!
Feel sick thinking about it, must think of 'good news' again......... George systems......aaahhhh...Feel better now!

Cant do trad, Its a 3 storey house and the top floor windows are velux and half way up the roof. Besides, Even if I was mad enough to climb onto the roof to clean the velux windows I would haveto climb up on one side and then shimmy across the roof to each of the windows as there is an extension thus blocking access to the roof.
Never mind, I do quite a few of this style of house to keep me going.

This January we decided that if there was too much dog crap in any of the gardens we would drop the customer.
The hassle you mention should confirm that it really is not worth it.

i dont bother cleaning a house with crap everywhere. Its just not worth it. And if you make a point of it, more often than not, they'll clean it up anyway.

If your going to drop it anyway, then you've nothing to loose by telling/asking them to clear it up.

I have dropped a couple like that.

1 of them phoned me to ask why i hadn't been round, so i told them.

I had even put a note on the back of the slip i leave if they aren't in about the amount of dog mess.

Can't understand how people can let it get like it.

I have a 5 month old puppy who craps everywhere but there's no way i could leave it to build up.

Only had it once and didnt know until I was coming down the ladder and it ended up all over my hands. That was years ago and I dropped them, thing is they werent good payers anyway so I lost nothing.
