I am using a sir wire realise handle and a 12" sir channel.I seem to be leaving loads of liquid on the window at on end of the channel. I am using Glimmer clean anti static liquid and am pushing firmly on the glas mainly with my thumb and fore finger doing the bis.Is my handle and channel poo or is it my technique.I know it is difficult with out seeing me clean but any help would be welcome! ???

For starters go back to basics.
Make sure the bar isn't bent.
Is the rubber in good condition?
Is the rubber reasonable tight in the channel.
Are you putting Too much solution on the window?

Wet the glass. Wipe the frame including just onto the glass. Dry the blade. Do straight down stokes but dry the rubber before each stroke and overlap the last run.
Try that first then get your confidence back

hi m8
buy a new channel with which you will get rubber already cut to size (about £3 so it wont break the bank)
apply this on to your handle
if the problem persists

I know its a stupid question to ask but you are cleaning the glass using a sweeping motion left to right/ top to bottom and not dragging the blade straight down from the top to bottom?

The best advive I can give you, this is how I teach my new guy's is paint a dot in the centre of the channel and then at each end. Concentrate on keeping the water line inbetween the centre dot and whatever end is leading. Never have a straight blade until you are finishing off at the bottom.

Hope this helps,

It may be because you are pressing on too hard.

By "pushing firmly on the glass" you are bending the edge of the rubber away from the glass causing a blunt contact.

Just let the blade do the work without pressing on. The blade should run across the glass on a sharp edge to be effective.

Hope that helps
