The 1st one you showed i have cleaned before it was 100% New Zealand lambs wool i wet cleaned it and it came up ok the only problem is the pile is deep and thick it shows up the tiniest speck of fluff!! also we found a lot of adhesive dotted around the rug which seemed to come from the backing!! this showed up bad aswell but we soon rectified the problem.

I once cleaned a red one and spent 1.5 hours with a crevice tool vacuuming up all the crap down at the base of the pile as it gets trapped in these shag rugs.  Cleaned well with HWE.  I used the CFR 7inch stair tool.

I have refused to clean any since.  Not worth it as they are cheap rugs.
