Parking shouldn't really be a problem for me as most of my work is well away from the town centre and out of reach from the dreaded traffic warden. Hardly a double yellow line in sight.
It may be worth me investing in something slightly larger than what i was considering then. Especially as most of you guys seem to wish you'd have gone larger initially.

Hi,
I already had a merc. sprinter so went strait for 1000 lt system
A frame ladder and 2 tier ladder fit inside easily ,
3 tier ladder on the roof can,t be reached without a smaller ladder
(bit of security)but very rarely use this any more (had to grease the clamps last time before they siezed)
and still room for a dance.
The only down side compaired to other smaller vans is that it will use a bit more diesel, as most of my work is quite local its not a major issue.
(I recon I get about 24/25mpg)
