CANT GET ACCESS TO THE BACK GATE, PROBLEM SOLVED
« on: August 03, 2006, 11:21:14 am »
How many times, have you encountered where you cant get to the back of the house, because the gate is padlocked, this is what i have suggested to my customers and they love the idea, its a realistic looking rock that has a sliding door at the back of it, the key is always there for the back gate when ever you go to clean the windows,
this stone is very realistic,           Looking at them along side other stones you cant tell the diffrence, and they are only a couple of pounds each, well worth the invesment.  but do keep it between you and the customer, no one else has to know about it,
heres one on ebay,

For a couple of quid  why not just get a key cut,all the gardeners have them to get there mowers round the back . If someone was working for me i wouldnt expect them to keep climbing over gates and fences .   Steve

i ask my customers to put combination locks on the gate and give me the combination , i have always done this and it has worked for me.

I also get them to put combination locks on, Just don't loose the numbers.

good idea though jouk45, for those customers who don't like combination locks.

i have also advised many customers to use a combination lock  , some have , most havent , so i still have to climb into quite a few !

One of my customers set the combination up based on one of my phone numbers so it would be easier for me to remember  :)

Here's a better one - it works best with wooden gates and no CCTV.

1. Check where the bolt/padlock is.

If below waist height apply size 11 boot hard.

If above waist height apply shoulder.

2. Blame local Chav's for damage by leaving a note saying:-

Dear customer,

Imagine my surprise when upon making my way to the rear of your property I found the gate hanging in a lopsided manner.

As i rounded the corner a young man in a "hoodie" ran off over the back fence.

I have checked all around your property and thankfully there is no sign of a break-in.

Yours faithfully
