3d powerup Belt replacement issue
« on: April 01, 2025, 11:22:05 pm »
Anyone using these 3d powerup reels who manages to replace their belt successfully?

The new belt teeth doesn't seem to fit round the reel "sprocket" well at all as you can hopefully see on my photo. 🤯

Surely you're not supposed to stretch the belt so much that the teeth finally locate where it should?

Any help from owners hugely appreciate
Thank you 😊

You need to loosen the motor to tension it correctly.

Thanks for the response.
I can see how to do that I'm just very unsure the belt is correct needing if it needs that amount of stretching to fit 🤯

So this looks right?
I just can't see why belt doesn't just fit nicely into the teeth. It's impossible to stretch it by hand which makes me think forcing it with adjusting the motor is going to add so much force something will break 😭

There's something not right, either wrong belt or its already stretched.

You must have the wrong belt then. The number is clearly marked on the outside of the belt so check with your old one. It’s a right pain in the ass job but you don’t have to stretch it. It should slip over easily & then you tension it with the adjuster bolt.

Looks like the teeth are at the wrong pitch. Are you 100% sure it matches the old one? It could be the supplier send out the wrong one?
