I have been debating buying one for ages , it's a lot of money for what it is.

I'll let you know what it's like after a few jobs. Not too worried about the price, it'll soon be making money.

What does it do that’s so good?

I use a 100l barrel, mix my hypo and water in it. Then use a softwash machine with standard short spray gun, variable tip. Easy. Can’t see what this gun is doing to make anything easier?

It's a compact piece of equipment that mixes your chemical to the right ratio at the same time your applying it and put's it down fast in foam so you can see coverage and wait for dwell time.  You could leave the softwash equipment at home if your drive cleaning and just put the ProJet in with your PW equipment.

So you need two hoses? One in a barrel of hypo and then a standard water supply?

Yes, you add your surfactant to your barrel of Hypo, then feed a 5 metre suction hose into the bottom of the barrel, insert a proportioner into the gun and your good to go. Can be used with just water for washing down and you can swap between chemical and water without having to change any parts, can also be used with a lance.

I did a few Softwashing jobs yesterday with my PF Trolly. Like the idea of the Projet but not to keen having my 100kg PW in van to go with it. If I get commercial jobs then I'll consider one. Let us know how you get on with it in the future. Good post.

Got that Vanguard from Rutland Pumps. 250bar and 21lpm it sits on 4 wheels and I have bolted on the expensive reel with 40m of hose on it. I bought it pre covid and it has doubled in price, great machine, Briggs and Stratton engine.

When I bought it Ben said it was about 100kgs and it has to be delivered on a pallet. I added the 100m hosereel to it but only run with 40m hose on it. I have to take a run to build up speed to get it up the ramps and in to the van. I wish it was only 60 or 70kgs but seems over 100kgs now.
