Unresponsive customer texting tip
« on: March 20, 2025, 08:10:47 am »
Hi everyone I wanted to share this tip with you because in my opinion it works every time.  We did a job last week for a regular customer with a add on of a conservatory roof clean. After a  few days no payment received so I sent them a message but no response then a couple of days after another without any response so today I've sent them a message to say that I'm going round there later. Guess what? Within seconds a text came back saying there was a confusion between her and her hubby and she's just paid!!
Works every time.

Fair enough but that's probably the last time you clean for them after that.
We look at them, they look through them.

Double bonus then.

Paid and a messer dumped.

It's a game of three halves!

I have a simple method. I just post a card saying the balance at the next clean. Still don't pay then I dodge them and block their number. Too busy with time vampires because my time is my most precious asset. One of my customer's has just had a baby and I understand how busy she is so I don't mind her paying every 2 cleans.

One of mine had a baby this week and I told her to use my £18. to buy a nice bottle of wine or something for the baby.
The nicer you are to people the more work you get. Did you see what I did there? 😀

In the end I have about 1% of my customer base that I have a problem collecting. No big deal.
