I remember it happened a couple of years back too.  Had us all worried as we flocked to the other forum. 

I resisted this time, as I was certain it would be back again..

I saw that too, wonder what his problem is? Not a well thought out statement, if it had gone, there would probably have been a mass migration from here to theirs, he wouldn't have liked that.

The error said couldn’t resolve dns. My guess is that someone forgot to pay the hosting or domain fees. It’s easy to do.

The fact that this site doesn’t even have an SSL certificate (and I get dire security warnings every time I load a page) is an indication of how bothered the site owners are about this site. I fully expected it to be gone for good.

Glad it’s not though!
