From a recent post, Darran isn't well and didn't feel he could run his business effectively with his health situation. So I guess this was the best solution under the circumstances.

This is very sad and we wish him well. He's been around a long time and I, for one, was helped by his helpful advice.

I remember Darren helped with a huge contract I had for a job in London a few years ago. He also sold me a van, which turned out to be a right heap of 💩 . Didn’t matter, was my fault anyway.


I’d say he was probably the most helpful and informed member on here. He’ll be missed, good luck Darren.

I know spruce, I was part of that thread.

I just noticed he hasn’t posted since then, so wondered if he’s ok or not.

Hopefully he reads this and gives us an update.

I'm here but closed the business down - a couple of the guys took over the rounds and the rest has been put into liquidation

It all became too much hassle with the health issues I have several op's pending over the next few weeks so I can't give anything like work the attention it needs

I will look in from time to time

Thats pretty narccisistic to be fair. I've posted here from my hospital bed as have lots of others too. I think its become a standard we expect.

lol it’s a funny story actually, as I didn’t get it MOT’d and completely forgot about getting that done. When I eventually got a heads up about it I took it in to the garage and they reckon the seals were completely shot.

£2K to sort out. It’s more than I paid you for it. I scrapped it but I got a year’s mileage or so out of it.
