I had a similar situation a few years ago. I took her back on as she was really humble and she's been a model customer ever since! She gets me a top quality hamper every xmas, pays on the dot and we've actually become quite good friends now.👍
Friends?! Don’t kid yourself🤣
Yep, 10 years down the line now. Her husband died and she often tells me that our chats really help her and how much she appreciates me! I have to stress though, she was very humble when she asked me if I would consider coming back and freely acknowledged that she had made a terrible decision taking someone else on. It was this attitude and approach that led me to take the decision to go back.
I once had a customer who was quite rude and abrupt with me, out of character for her too. I almost fired back and was on the verge of telling her where to go in no uncertain terms! However, I bit my lip and moved on. I later found out that her brother had just died of cancer at the same time she had just been diagnosed with it AND to top this off, her husband had run off with another woman! I'm so glad I bit my lip that day. She has actually confided in me numerous times since and again, is now a long term excellent customer.
Now, I'm not saying this is the case for the OP, but rather sometimes, it's beneficial not to act hastily or let pride cloud your better judgement.😉
