I'm doing ok but not going to break any records this year.
We look at them, they look through them.

I was gobsmacked this week. Someone gave me a £38 tip on line, the job itself is only £12. Not outwardly obviously well off at all. Ive always found generally that people in humble dwellings are more generous than those with obvious wealth.

Have a tenner clean and the guy gave me a fiver tip and it took my breath away because its a council estate. Half million pound houses I do, I don't get anything, not even a wave from the window. 🤔

Bizarre, because they are all very nice. No cleaning due to minus weather but out pricing a scaffold. Might be a good earner as the owner is desperate to get his drainage fixed. That's the reason plumbers always seem busy, folk want them right away and hard to live without water and drainage.

You do realise this is a window cleaning forum? Every single post you waffle on about anything other than window cleaning.

Over the years I've noticed that it's pensioners that mostly tip where as the more lucrative properties where both parents are working tend not to but I have received more tips from those that pay online this year than normal, I think it's because they have been informed that I'm retiring on 23rd of December this year?

Unfortunately most customers don't tip these days and if they do I have to declare them because they pay extra online and it messes my accounts up...obviously the cash tips go straight in my pocket but they get less and less every year...
price higher/work harder!

About £100 in tips so far and a bottle of wine, would be surprised if I get to £200. Used to get loads more when customers paid cash, oh well.

Who rattled your cage?
Got a nice tenner tip when cleaning a posh house windows today and I have to give a price for trimming some trees, that's what I love about window cleaning, the add-ons. 😉

I've had a record year with tips.
Yesterday I did a small terrace house (only £14) and the lady came out and gave me 2 cards
1 was a xmas card and the other was a retirement card a both of them had a £20 note in them, well chuffed.
