PPS also what type/size of hose do I exactly need based on your setup? Might as well get all the questions out now
I’ll do my best to help but i set this up over 10 years ago & it’s Sunday & I do have a life. Some of it for me was trial & error so you may have to do the same.
Pump is screwed down to plywood on top of tank & is heavy so doesn’t move.
The other pump shown is my booster pump.
I think (not entirely sure) you’ll need a 2” female to reduce down to 1” & go from there. I’m sure you can work out which is a male & female thread for obvious reasons!
I use a 1” transfer hose that is clipped along my garage wall. I have no gun as that involves taking tank lid off & potentially contaminating the water with leaves etc. Instead I have a length of 1” hose coming out of van tank lid & cabled tied to van roof. I leave it coiled in back of van & connect the two up via a 1” male & female threaded connection each time i fill. Make sure you vent the tank lid.
I’ll go take some photos in a minute & painfully upload them!
You’ll have to google the connections. I’m not doing all the leg work. I haven’t got time.
