Or do you just put a box set on and think sod this. 😂Oil filled radiator in van next to my hose reel overnightBroom and ice melt grit for customers that want me to grit their driveway/path.That's it. Business as usual. Are you not using the frost protection system on your hot water system?Frost protection on PF heater only protects heater, not the rest of your kit in van.Not on the Grippatank hot water setup. It works a treat for me. It circulates hot water through the hoses and back to the tank. When water temp drops to 2 degrees it kicks in for 5 mins. Keeps everything fully defrosted. What even all your water fed poles, brushes and pole hose? greenhouse heater on the right setting keeps EVERYTHING in the back of the van from freezingI tried a greenhouse heater the other night. My gear was frost free but the roof of the van was frozen. I don't think it's as good as an oil filled radiator.

Quote from: Billy clarke on Yesterday at 05:29:38 amWhich oil filled radiator is suitable . 500 watt , 1500 or 2000. Never used one before . So no idea . I presume you just leave it on a low setting all night ?I would go for a mid range one with a sensitive thermostat on it .Or a fan heater. The sensitive thermostat is the important thing. Also a timer.

Thing is , I have 2 small fan heaters . But I am paranoid about leaving them all night . Woukdnt be able to sleep . I cover the pump and reel with a sleeping bag . Works most of the time . Then in the morning put the fan Heaters in the back pointing at the pump . Usually everything is fine . The wife says im definitely not leaving any kind of Heater on all night in the back of the van . She’s scared it will set on fire . So that’s that . I’ve managed all week . The 2 nano trolleys have earned there money this week . Like she says it’s usually only a couple of weeks a year we get this crap .
Also just invest in an RCD safety extension lead and plug for the heater. So there is nothing to worry about if something goes wrong with the heater.
