How do you describe a day if a customer has forgotten to unlock the side gate, warfare?

Window cleaning is one of the least stressful jobs you can do....locked gates,occasional parking issues is all in a days work and very minor in the working day....

It's about adapting and accepting that things are just not gonna run ultra smooth every day.

It's the same in the gym🏋️‍♂️ ...I might have a certain workout planned in my head before I get there but someone might be on the piece of equipment/machine I want to use so I'll just adapt and use something else and often have a different,more interesting  workout.

Well this is where we differ, if something annoys me i`ll try to remove the annoyance rather than just put up with it.

I went to the gym earlier this year but got sick to death of waiting for machines and having to do other exercies that i didnt really want to do because of it. Hence why i packed it in and went back to my home gym, problem solved.

Me and this other guy were talking the other day how we were the hardest guys in the gym(he's 67 now)and I'm 53...

90% of the time I cant get on the drive. I have to reel out a load of slack on the reel hose to start as it gets stuck if I just pull. I'm often working around two cars on the drive but I'm so used to it now that it doesn't bother me.

I hate jobs involving getting the ladder off for flat roofs but I just charge extra. In the grand scheme of things I haven't got that many ladder jobs anyway.

What I wont do anymore is go through back gates or through the house.

We are always refining.

The question was asked about refining work.

You are arguing semantics really, perhaps ruin the day is an over exaggeration but it's to make a point.

If you already have a good round then you have to "clutch at straws" to some extent and micro analyse ypur work. So a minor annoyance job for whatever reason should be a candidate for removal surely over one that you don't mind as much unless you are sadistic.

If you hate ladders jobs why don't  you get rid of them? or just say you don't use ladders anymore and reduce the price and skip them windows?

I did this last year and I should of done it years ago!I only had to drop 3 jobs!the other 8 jobs kept me on but at a reduced price.

Now I haven't got a single job that requires ladders for flat roofs!👍😎

It's liberating! Even more so in this freezing weather!

Hate was  probably too strong a word, more an irritation. And thinking about it I do have quite a few. So I was talking nonsense before. I do one or two a day so getting rid of all of them isn't feasible financially. At least none of them are dodgy although I agree it's always a risk.
