Hose from home tank to tank in van
« on: November 11, 2024, 04:44:48 pm »
If have a tank in the van and 2 barrels with purified water,in a waterproof cupboard. What I need is a company that do a wide hose pipe that does not get bend when trying to fill the tank in the van. This is what I had to start with but the foldable pipe is no good. I want something that just curls into loops that your reach and wash hose does,.Can someone please provide which companies do this pipe ? Thanks in advance.
Cheers Rich

Something like this any good?

https://windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk/products/1-transfer-hose-30m-coil?variant=14011071397957

I used that. Except 1 1/4" not 1".

From an industrial hose supplier (in Avonmouth, Bristol) with necessary fittings - which I can collect from.

And you can usually buy by the metre so 8 metres is enough for me.
It's a game of three halves!

I used to get mine from Bristol Hose, they were out of stock once and sent me to their supplier who was in Yate, Bristol.

After starting my business once again after being off for over 3 years, I have about 1 week of work spread out for a month, so even though advertising it’s not giving me any more work. So think when January starts I might start doing parcel delivery alongside the windows,
As it happens we have a Machine Mart in Gateshead, next to Newcastle, they have this which will do

I use a clear braided hose. Got it off ebay. Found the corrugated stuff doesn't last that long it splits eventually.
