I've had enough already and I've only done 2 days 8 till 1.
f*** weekends
f*** Fridays
And I'm starting to want to drop Thursdays as well.
In fact this week I will be my right elbow is f***ed, my shoulder is f***ed and I've had enough of this lark.
Seriously Adam I think you need to sell up and do something else. I don't think your cut out for window cleaning...
If your shoulder and elbow are bad now imagine what they will be like if your still window cleaning at my age?
I'm 53 in 2 weeks time with zero injury issues (and may it stay that way for many years yet)
I'm hoping I've got at least another 27 years left window cleaning then ill think about retiring fully at 80...
I know one guy still going at 80 and he keeps saying he ll retire soon but he's been saying that for years(he started window cleaning at 18)so 62 years shining!😎👍
You know what daz i dont particulary like window cleaning but i can stomach it,
what really gets me is the constant fatigue
I wake up aching, peel myself out of bed to go slog round houses all day. My wrists ache constantly from gripping and at the moment my right elbow hurts a lot. I get shoulder and neck pains at random. Then i get home and just feel drained. I go to the gym, i cycle, my diet is decent now but i still feel like ive been run over at the end of the week. I generally recover over the weekend and by monday i usuallly have the enery to do a good days work. But it feels like every day after than takes more and more out of me by the time i get to thursday im totally fed up and in a bad mood.
I dont know if its because i just try and do too much work in a day, i go flat out, start around 8 finish about 1 or 2 and aim for about 25 houses a day sometimes a bit more or less.....maybe if my prices where higher i could take more time but i always feel like im going 100mph to earn a decent crack.
