Opportunists Around
« on: June 25, 2024, 07:03:16 pm »
An opportunist approached me today and asked if he could borrow my wheel barrow as he was working over the road. If was full with dirt as I was fitting the frame for my astro turf and tomorrow back to windows. I offered him a sack barrow but he wasn't interested and wanted the wheel barrow. I refused and he went back over the road so I watched where he went. He ended up jumping in the passenger side of a new tipper van which did a u turn and drove away from where I was working. I was lucky because I wouldn't have seen the wheel barrow again. Just to let everyone know to lock the van with these folk going about. 😉

You wanna put a tracker on it and insure it with Alexander Swan.

You are right because it cost over £200. Who would have thought a wheel barrow could cost that much, should have stuck with a cheap one and no one would be interested in it.

A lady just stopped me and asked me how much for a 5 bedroom house. I said about £40. She said thanks and walked off.

True story!

I suppose you would have been saying the T Roc is the best looking small SUV out there….. if you hadn’t had delivery delays on one😆.
You should have dipped into that  big reserve fund of yours and got yourself something more exciting.

Personal opinion Daz, I think the formentor looks a bit naff, reminds me of a mini countrymen.

Audi q5 and new x1, x3, x5 look the best in my opinion. Oh, and the new Kia sportage, that looks a good car.
