Anyone had hernia op recently

I asked this question a couple years ago when i had two hernias, I now have three and have to have an op on all three, went to hospital today they said about 3 months time, I wasn't expecting so soon, it's going to be keyhole which is good, I'm hoping 4 weeks max back to work, anyone had one recently, how long till back cheers in advance.

Friend of mine had the same experience. Once he got to see a consultant he was offered a date within 12 weeks at the local Bupa (Spire). The actual wait to see the consultant on the NHS can be the longest part of the process.
